Change Maker
This semester in Trep Studio I had the chance to make and create projects that I am very passionate about that also have an impact on others. To fully appreciate those projects and to share the impact that they had on others I wrote a Change Maker Story. It was about whom I was affecting and how that was a change in there lives. I think writing this was very important to fully appreciate what I had done in Trep and to help me understand why we do the things we do there.
Apex Tricopter
One of my personal favorit projects that I overtook in my time at Trep was my Apex Tricopter. It was a uniquely designed multi rotor that allowed me to explore the world of rc and experiment with diffrent laws of motion. Also while creating this project I also documented all of the steps to share with others. It allowed me to practice my writing skills and my ability to explain the things I do.
Stylus Articulation Tool
One of my major project was my stylus articulation tool. It was a device that I designed for a student in a local DLC classroom that had a very specialized need. Making this gave me the opportunity to work with new people and forced me to learn how to interact in ways I may not have before. I learned important skills that will help me continue to design and help others. Designing for disabled users is a great learning tool and helps you look at things in a different light.
Foldable Glider
In conjunction with EWU a team of students including me worked on creating a glider that would fold into a rocket that would then be deployed at ten thousand feet. Doing this project made everyone learn how to work with one another under very strict time constraints and part out roles to the person best suited for them. We have been confronted by stressful situations on several occasions but they have only prepared us for future project not only in school but also in the business world.
