Retro Tech Shades
For one of my projects in Inventioneering I created a pair of RetroTech Shades they were designed to automatically turn on lights and open and close the lenses. I then created an Instructables for the project that was featured on the Adafruit blog. During this project I learned a lot about the designing of a 3D product and the design of a embedded circuit.
ion Speeder
My major coding project was a game I called Ion-Speeder. All of the game was coded in the program Processing by me and then the visual designs were created by my brother in illustrator. This project taught me the most about the fundamentals of coding and how to implement them in creative ways. Ion-Speeder was a stair stepper to future more complex projects.
Stylus Holder
My final project in Inventioneering was my stylus holder. We created this stylus holder to allow people with physical disabilities to use touch screen devices even if they have limited use of their arm. During our presentation we even had a person with physical limitations come up and actually use our device and even though it wasn't designed specifically for her it did do what it was supposed to and the smile on her face was definitely worth all the work put into it. She has actually placed an order for one so I am going to continue and refine the design and eventually make her one.
